Nick was born and raised in Turkey. At the age of 6 he became a monk. When he turned 16 he set sail to Greenland on a boat he made himself out of pinecones and tree sap. It was in Greenland where he became so bored that he started picking up the guitar. By the age of 19 his guitar teacher had frozen to death over the summer and he began learning on his own. Eventually his job at Loose Granular Enterprises as a cheese cutter resulted in him being transferred to Green Bay Wisconsin. From there his love for guitar continued and he eventually stopped cutting the cheese and took on the guitar full time. He now lives in Mexico City but commutes back and forth to Ohio for various gigs. None of this is true but Nick is truly one heck of an amazing guitar player.
